ABOUT MEGeologist.I have a passion for studying the Earth and for sharing knowledge and information about Earth Science and the world around us. I primarily study structures and metamorphic minerals in rocks and relate them to processes that occur at the boundaries of tectonic plates, such as earthquakes and the building of mountains. I like to get outside and observe rocks in their natural habitat. I currently work as a researcher and lecturer at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, Norway.

Recent ProjectsI enjoy working on geology all over the world, discovering new things and meeting new people. I have been lucky enough that my work has taken to me to exciting and remote places, like Arctic Norway, the Yukon Territory of Canada, and the Namibian desert.
